Our program helps students grow in teamwork, discipline, confidence, leadership, and good sportsmanship. Our athletics program is led by Mike Hannan, Athletic Director and Physical Education and Health Teacher.

Students have opportunities to participate in volleyball, cross-country, basketball, soccer, and football.  We are also always looking for talented, dependable adults who would like to share their time and experience by helping coach our student-athletes.

Our 8th-grade students have the opportunity to build a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational Spanish. Through engaging lessons and practical activities, students develop the confidence to communicate in Spanish while gaining a deeper appreciation for the cultures and traditions of Spanish-speaking communities.

Students who successfully complete this course will also earn high school credit, giving them a valuable academic head start as they prepare for their next stage of education.

Rooted in our Catholic identity, Spanish class encourages students to use language to welcome others, build meaningful connections, and better serve their neighbors.

Our elementary students experience the joy and beauty of the fine arts through music and arts and crafts, with each subject offered during alternating quarters. Classes are led by Sister Sara Maria, who helps students discover their creativity, develop new skills, and recognize artistic expression as a gift from God.

We are deeply blessed to have a religious sister as part of our Saint Joseph community. Through her joyful presence, faithful example, and dedication to our students, Sister Sara Maria brings our Catholic identity into every lesson. Students are encouraged to use music and art to celebrate God’s creation, express their faith, and share beauty with others.

Through Fine Arts, our students learn that creativity is not only a talent—it is also a meaningful way to glorify God and serve the world around them.

Our middle school electives give students meaningful opportunities to grow, explore new interests, and stay engaged in learning in creative and practical ways. For our 8th-grade students, Financial Literacy is led by Mr. Fisher, and students who complete the course will receive high school credit, giving them an excellent head start for the future.

All middle school students will also participate in electives through themed quarters. First quarter features Catholic Life Skills, led by Mrs. Salazar, helping students build practical habits and life skills grounded in our faith. Second quarter features Drama Club, led by Mrs. Wattley and Mrs. Staller, where students can build confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Third and fourth quarters will bring additional elective opportunities, giving students even more ways to discover their interests and gifts.

We are excited to offer these experiences as part of helping our students learn, grow, and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
